    Focus Area

The PM is responsible for ensuring high-value technology is delivered on-time and made ready for commercial sales and offload. This requires extensive collaboration with both internal (commercial/engineering/production & delivery/sales & operations) and external stakeholders (customers/service partners/funding partners). Duties include those listed below and other duties as assigned by the GM.

At present, Entech's three product lines are in the latter stages of the project lifecycle, so short term duties of the PM are focused on expanding the Fantom™ customer base and pilot planning for Superstage® and Bossa Nova™. Operational duties will include managing ongoing sales & deliveries, improving our local supply chain process and providing technical support to existing customers. Entech's facility will need to grow with activity levels, so PM is expected to assist GM with outfitting the workshop and office with proper tools and equipment to support the business. Technology-related duties will include participating in design reviews, conducting risk assessments, drafting operational procedures and coordinating de-risking activities. On a regular basis, the PM will be expected to forecast project-related workload, assign responsibilities to team members and follow up as needed to meet deadlines.

Monthly travel up to 20% on average; can be more during field trials, less during normal activity levels. At least two international business trips are expected per year, for a duration of at least one week each, with at least one trip to Entech headquarters in Bergen, Norway. Other common destinations include Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, UAE. Travel expenses are reimbursed by company according to Entech's expense policy.

Expected to spend 4-5 days per month at workshop for managing inventory, preparing deliveries and equipment maintenance and testing. During normal working hours, the direct manager may request employee's presence at one of company's facilities or customer location for specific activities or meetings. Expected to participate in weekly team conference calls and communicate daily with colleagues regarding project activities.

    Long Term Objectives

The PM will share Entech's long term objective of building technology value by expanding the track record for new products and in new regions. This will require the PM to deliver technology presentations to potential customers, establish customer-specific product statements of requirements (SORs) and helping to prioritize product development activities.

Career path will depend on demonstrated skill sets, employee interest and the objectives of the company. It is expected that the successful PM will assist the GM in building the regional organization, with corresponding managerial responsibilities. As part of organizational growth, the PM will have opportunities to pursue more dedicated commercial or technology management roles.

During the orientation phase (9-12 months), the PM will be an integral part of the regional operations team, reporting directly to the General Manager (GM) for North America.
